Duttatreya is an analyst with Ember’s Asia team, specializing in renewable energy and industrial decarbonization. He leverages data-driven insights to support technology development, policy formulation, and business decision-making in the energy transition.
Before joining Ember, he covered key sectors such as solar, hydrogen, and manufacturing in India. Earlier, he was also a part of the corporate sustainability initiative at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
Duttatreya holds an undergraduate degree in Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and is currently a Senior Research Fellow at IIT Delhi. Outside of work, he enjoys reading about science, innovation, and business history.
