Sumika Nakane is a Senior Investment Specialist, Infrastructure Finance Division 1, Private Sector Operations Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Since joining ADB in 2016, she has been engaged primarily in private sector finance for infrastructure projects in various sectors, including renewable energy, in South Asia and Central West Asia. Sumika is currently based in Delhi, India. Prior to joining ADB, Sumika worked for Mizuho Bank Limited in Japan, covering project finance for renewable energy, power, and natural resources projects in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. She has an MBA from INSEAD (France/Singapore) and a Bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Tokyo (Japan).
